I’ve found it! Introducing the perfect cover up for a beach day.
The wrap-style shawl is luxurious enough for a honeymoon, but carefree enough for an average day on the beach. If there was such a thing! Let’s be honest: every day on the beach is above average.
“Our designs embrace an effortless feminine allure, perfect for the free-spirited woman,” says Angeline. I’ll say so! I couldn’t resist twirling in the Fort Lauderdale sunshine.
Angeline recently introduced bridal cover ups to her collection, both in lace and chiffon fabrics, embellished with swarozski beading and hand embroidery. Just look at the detailing.
The collection has debuted at New York Bridal Week and they had their first European launch in Vienna last fall.
Angeline says she has plans to launch their first flagship atelier in Miami later this fall, so stay tuned for more news on that! In the meantime, view the 2016 Island Bridal Collection.
About those sunnies…
Also, did you know that 1 billion people in the world don’t have access to eye care? There’s a new company that I found recently called SOLO Eyewear and they are doing some amazing things. Made with recycled bamboo, every pair of sunglasses sold, funds eye exams for people in need. This company has restored vision to more than 10k people in 32 countries! I love it when brands find creative ways to give back to communities. And I wear my Cameroon pair (named after the country) all the time.
Thank you to my dear friend Angela Caraway-Carlton, for the super cute “Beach Please!” birthday cup. :)
