What happens when you send someone with no experience whatsoever with a tennis racket to the same court as oh, you know, The Williams sisters and Novak Djokovic?

Well, let’s just say that I didn’t whiff. While I may not be the best tennis player in the world, I have to admit that I was a little starstruck on the court this week at the All-Star Charity Tennis Event on Key Biscayne. All the pro players are in town for the Miami Open on Key Biscayne.

How did I do?

My technique was shaky at best, but I loved my outfit from EleVen by Venus. And you know what? She liked it, too. She tapped me on the shoulder and said, “You look good!” Even though I pretty much royally sucked on the court, the fact that Venus Williams told me I looked good, is all that matters to me.
