How to Maintain a Super Hot Beach Body in Fort Lauderdale

Even in the winter it’s bikini season in Fort Lauderdale. So here are a few tips to say fit while all your friends freeze their tales off up north.

1. Go for a Run:

Join the Greater Fort Lauderdale Road Runners Club for a weekly run on the scenic A1A.

2. Dive into the Ocean:

With water temperatures averaging 72 degrees in the winter and 80 degrees in the summer, it’s always a great time to dive in Fort Lauderdale. Here you’ll find the only place in the continental USA where you can snorkel and dive on a living coral reef directly off the beach.

3. Two-Wheel Around Town:

With 275 bicycles at 24 stations and yearly membership rates under $50, Broward B-Cycle is both convenient and affordable.

4. Balance on Water:

Test your inner yogi and sign up for a yoga stand up paddle board class. Fort Lauderdale Stand Up Paddle, Sunrise Paddleboards and OceanOM are all good choices.

5. Gt Fit with a Fork:

Find fresh produce, artisan sandwiches and organic products at Living Green Fresh Market. During the week, be sure to stop by Eucalyptus Gardens and visit the farmers market, coffee shop and vegan restaurant.
