Las Olas Art Fair – January, March & October

One of the best art fairs in the country, the Las Olas Art Fair draws art and culture lovers to to Fort Lauderdale’s arts and entertainment on Las Olas Boulevard. Admission is free.

Tortuga Music Festival – April

Each April music’s top performers take over Fort Lauderdale Beach for the Tortuga Music Festival. Dance all day and rock out all night with your toes in the sand. Not only does this multi-day festival take place on one of the most gorgeous beaches on the Atlantic, it also raises awareness about marine conservation efforts through Rock The Ocean Foundation.

Dania Beach Arts & Seafood Festival – April

Great food and the arts collide at the Dania Beach Arts & Seafood Festival in the heart of downtown Dania Beach at Frost Park. The two-day event features live music, works by local artists, a beer and wine garden and delicious eats from local restaurants. Admission is free.

Pompano Beach Seafood Festival – April

Head to the Pompano Beach Seafood Festival for a fun-filled weekend of music and great seafood. Three-day passes start at $30 per person. Individual day tickets are available too.

Lauderdale Spa Chic Month – August & September

Spend some much-needed time at the spa and save some serious dough during Lauderdale Spa Chic Month. Participating spas cut treatment prices by 50 percent. Enjoy a massage or a facial for $99.

Dine Out Lauderdale – August & September

It’s no secret that Fort Lauderdale is considered to be the yachting capital of the world. And the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is your chance to check out some of the coolest speed boats, yachts and other floating vessels. The show takes place at various locations across the city. General admission starts at $28 per person.

Annual Christmas-By-The-Sea – December

Visit Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, one of Fort Lauderdale’s most charming neighborhoods for a family-friendly Christmas tree lighting ceremony, a festive yuletide market and an appearance by Santa Claus. The event takes place at Anglin’s Square, Commercial Blvd. at El Mar Drive.

The Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade – December

What better way to celebrate the holiday season, than with a Jimmy Buffett-style soiree on the Intracoastal Waterway. Views hundreds of boats (and a few mega yachts) decked out in colorful Christmas lights at The Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade. Tickets are usually $25 per person if you want a seat at the grandstand viewing area.
