Tomorrow Might be the Most Insane Day of My Life

And here’s why…

See those big balls in the photo above? They’re going to be flying at my head.

I might just hit a peak in my tennis career.

Oh, you didn’t know I had a career in tennis?

Yeah, neither did I.

But stranger things have happened. Like when a monkey stole my sandwich when I was hiking through a rain forrest in Costa Rica. Or when a monkey peed on my head at the Wichita, Kan. zoo (still the best day in my little brother’s life, btw).

Nonetheless, I digress. Back to tomorrow.

Tomorrow I’m going to step on the tennis court with the Williams sisters. Yes, I’m talking about Serena and Venus – two of the best tennis players that have ever played the game. In fact, they’re here in Miami to play at the Sony Open tennis tournament, which is taking place throughout the next two weeks. Serena won the whole shebang last year.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m definitely not playing in the Sony Open. Instead, I’m playing in the All-Star Charity Tennis Event at The Ritz-Carlton on Key Biscayne. And guess who’s going to be on the court? Serena and Venus. Oh and you know, Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic, they’ll be there, too.

I’ve played tennis probably around three times in my life. And I did take a lesson once at the Vinoy in St. Petersburg. So, I’ll be okay, right? (This is where you lie to me).

I have a secret strategy. I ordered an outfit from Venus’ clothing line and my plan is two fold:

1) suck up by wearing her brand and hoping she’ll be nice to me because of it, and

2) look really cute even if I suck.

Here’s the good news for you: we’re shooting a video for VISIT FLORIDA at the event tomorrow. So you’re going to be able to see how well I do!
