The Best Place to Find Peace and Serenity in South Beach

If you think South Beach is only for the party people, then you’ve got it all wrong. Wake up early and while the all-night ravers are still sleeping, head to SoFi. Park across from Joe’s Stone Crab. Yes, you’ve heard of it – it’s famous. But have you heard of Joe’s Take Away?

Located next door to the big brother restaurant, Joe’s Take Away is a deli-style café where you can order fresh squeezed orange juice and my favorite breakfast – the South Beach omelet. Packed with veggies and wrapped in egg whites, this is a surefire way to amp up your morning.

Gobble it down, then walk over to South Pointe Park.

Run.

Bike.

Do yoga.

Or just stare.

Whatever you do, make sure you wrap it up by noon, when the revelers start to wake and South Beach returns to, well, South Beach.

  1. Great idea! The only time we have been to South Beach it was late afternoon and things were getting crazy. Didn’t feel like sticking around until after dark to see how it got then.

    1. Oh yes, it can get pretty crazy when the sun starts to set! In my opinion, South Beach is one of the best places in the world to people watch. :)
